Biography
Tim is a professional actor and UK fight director. Originally from New York, Tim studied method acting in the US before coming over the UK to study acting at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where he also apprenticed to Jonathan Howell as an assistant teacher of Stage Combat.
TV Acting credits include: Band of Brothers, Hiroshima, True Heroes, Casualty, Conquest, and American Embassy.
Tim has developed a systematic approach applying Meisner principals in movement and combat. He is resident
Fight Director at The Drama Centre, London's leading Drama School for
the methodical approach to acting.
As
an educator, Tim has staffed and developed combat workshops over the last
12 years in the UK, US, Canada, Italy, South Africa, Ireland, and the
Netherlands.
As an fight director, Tim has worked internationally creating fights for theatre, ballet, opera, film, video games and television. Tim works as a fight director across the board in UK Equity and non-Equity productions.
From time to time Tim works provides casting assistance for productions seeking action actors and motion capture performers, including Kingdom of Heaven and Alexander.
Work in mocap for video games includes Medieval Total War II, Spartan Total Warrior, Killzone 2, and Shellshock 2.
