Tim Klotz
Fight Director

 

This month Tim has led a performance for Brown Mountain's reskilling program at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. All his students from the YB summer intensive recieved to marks in their BADC Exams and is completing supervising mocap sessions for a sequeal to a major video game franchise, Shellshock 2.

Late last Year Tim worked with Di Trevis on a post-WWII drama, An English Tragedy at Watford Palace Theatre. This is a world premire play by Ron Harwood, the award winning writer of The Dresser and The Pianist. (more)

Currently in post production or awaiting release:

Black Chilli/Agitate films co-produced police brutality short called Mistaken ID.

The Second was a full length ongoing project called The Legend of the Golden Fishcake.

The third was The Hide, a feature shot at Pinewood Studios and on location, produced by CHRISTOPHER GRANIER-DEFERRE of Poission Rouge Pictures and directed by MAREK LOSEY.

Tim has worked over the last few years as motion capture performer for game developer Creative Assembley's SPARTAN: TOTAL WARRIOR. The game has won BEST ACTION GAME at the E3 video game conference in Los Angeles!

This is a major PS2/XBox/Gamecube release for SEGA available from 3 October 2005.


Fisticuffs update:

Tim was coordinating fight director for Miranda Pennell's short film "Fisticuffs" which has shown to great critical acclaim on UK channel 4 and European film festivals this year.

Royal Festival Hall:
Collaboration with Robert Tannion of Stan Won't Dance/formerly DV8 is reaching it's final phases for an educational project for the Royal Festival Hall. The project was seen by the public 23 April 2005 in the RFH Ballroom. The project was titled 'Take Action: Stunt Dancing'




And of course Tim was fight director for Madame Tussauds WARRIORS EXPERIENCE which combined 360degree digital projection with live action in their recently renovated showdome.

 

 

Other News:

2005 directed fights for Four Knights in Knaresborough directed by Peter Farago at Riverside Studios, Dutchess of Malfi for DCL at the Cochran Theatre, and A Patch of Blue at the Kings Head, a new opera called 'Avalon' in Sheffield, and Troilus and Cressida for Shakespeare's Globe.

Recently Tim has on film projects 'Percy Circus' for Skint & Minted Productions and 'Love' directed by Xavier Laret of Kaos Theatre starring Mat Fraser. Theatre work 'The Adventures of Robin Hood' for The Tabacco Factory in Bristol and 'Woody Allen Muder Mysteries' for the Croyden Warehouse.
